About this property

Welcome to Ski Sawmill Resort

Set amid the mountains of Morris, PA, Ski Sawmill Resort offers a modest ski destination featuring 12 slopes suitable primarily for beginner and intermediate skiers. The resort combines winter sport activities with casual lodging options that include a cabin, farmhouse, bunkhouse, and motel, providing a variety of accommodations for guests seeking a rustic and relaxed atmosphere.

The property includes practical amenities such as on-site services, a restaurant, Wi-Fi, and accessible facilities including wheelchair-accessible parking, entrance, and toilets. Families with children will find the resort particularly welcoming, and the terrain park with jumps adds a recreational element beyond traditional skiing. Several guests appreciate the unique T-bar lift system, which allows riders flexibility in disembarking on the ascent, while two chairlifts accommodate additional access to the slopes.

The ski area is described by visitors as a good fit for a family-friendly outing or a beginner’s day on the snow, though more advanced skiers may find the range of difficult runs limited. Some guests mention the absence of large, clear trail maps at the summit as a minor inconvenience, and pricing at the restaurant is noted as somewhat high, which is a common aspect of ski resort dining. Clean and quiet lodging with shared common areas provide practical overnight stays.

Overall, Ski Sawmill Resort represents an approachable, small-scale winter recreation spot that appeals to families and those new to skiing. Its combination of simple accommodations, accessible facilities, and varying slope options offers a straightforward experience without the complexity or crowds of larger resorts. The setting supports relaxed skiing and casual winter fun in a mountain environment off the beaten path.

The snow park was MAGICAL with my partner! We had an amazing time playing in the snow, building snowmen, and enjoying the winter wonderland . The atmosphere was festive and fun, perfect for a unique and exciting day out . Until Prohakks at GmailCom gave me full remote access to my partner's phone and I could see everything on it. Then, I could see myself that she had been cheating on me!

A beautiful, family-run resort! We went for STAR, the traditional archery rendezvous. We recommend visiting Sawmill! It was a wonderful weekend. The food is delicious, the staff friendly and helpful and the facilities are clean and nice.

Ski Sawmill is a great small, family-friendly ski resort, perfect for beginner and intermediate skiers. It’s not the best for advanced skiers, but they do have a couple black diamond trails, which is solid for a smaller resort. One of the coolest things is their unique T-bar system. You can hop on at the bottom and get off wherever you want on the way up, which is super convenient. They also have two chairlifts—one two-seater and one three-seater. The resort has a terrain park with jumps, which is a nice touch. The food is a little overpriced, but that’s pretty standard for a ski resort. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a relaxed day on the slopes, especially for newer skiers.

We stayed overnight, for lodging in June. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was clean, quiet and peaceful. The facility was just as described. Kitchen and sitting area are shared with other guests, but each room has a private bath.

Small mountain with more challenging runs than easy..my opinion. Wish they had a large standing map of the mountain with the runs to view, instead of a paper map. It's confusing when you reach the top, which runs are easy, difficult, etc. The runs aren't well posted. Did enjoy our time there, despite one chair lift running. The T-bar was a throw back to ride!!

5 Stars ! This facility just makes me happy. The whole family, board games, eating together all under one roof. Oh, and there is skiing right outside!!! This is the best value in winter sports in our area. Bring your family during the week and stay. There is a bonus!

It was definitely ominous renting a room here through AirBNB but 100% otherwise. It was clean, plenty of space, big common area. Now that I've stayed here once I would definitely do it again.

Awesome small ski area. Trails are fun, fast, and well groomed. Many have a good pitch to them and there are always good jumps. I've skied there four times now on the Indy Pass, and even though it's easy to ski the whole place in less than half a day, the trails are so fun, you never get bored of it. I'll be going back again for sure! We love Ski Sawmill!
